Recently we observed our first Hawaiian shirt day at First Presbyterian Church. In the photo above from left to right are Chuck Templeton, Easton Morrison and Loyd Ford.
This summer we added a much larger flower garden to Grace Garden. We grew all types of flowers including zinnias, cosmos, sunflowers and many other varieties. We encouraged people to visit the garden and pick the flowers free.
This summer we had a very successful event in which members of the community could come to Grace Garden and get free sweet corn. Approximately 63 people came to the garden to get the free corn, which is shown in the photo above. We also delivered free corn to others which brought the total served to about 75 people.
This summer we purchased a portable sign board to advertise our free vegetables at Grace Garden.
